2) Shot reverse shot

Usually used in conversations between characters looking at one another. The first shot  is normally an over the shoulder shot, with the reverse shot showing the opposing over the shoulder angle. The camera should remain the same side of the frame throughout, in co-operation with the 180 degree rule.
