The Task - Preliminary
This task is a minute long film demonstrating three editing techniques; match on action, shot reverse shot and the 180 degree rule. It should show a subject walking through a door holding an object, then conducting a conversation with another character. It should also include dialogue, sound effects and music is optional.
On this blog, there will be posts showing all three editing techniques with a diagram each. There will be three more posts; a hand-drawn storyboard of the preliminary, a post which shows the task allocations (director, camera operator etc) and a group evaluation.
